Cheslyn Hay Primary School is a larger than average Primary school situated on the edge of the village of Cheslyn Hay where we share a site with Cheslyn Hay High School and Cheslyn Hay Leisure Centre. We serve a wide catchment area.

Our school motto “Every Child Matters, Every Day Counts” is at the heart of all we do. We believe that children who come to Cheslyn Hay are on a learning journey and that we need to work together to ensure that ALL children reach their full learning potential by making the most of every opportunity and every day.

As a school we want to grow hard-working, resilient learners who are prepared to make and learn from mistakes. We believe in high expectations both of work and behaviour not only from the school staff but also from the parents and the children themselves.

One of the strengths of the school is the committed and caring staff that work hard to ensure that our children develop as learners. Staff inspire children and nurture their abilities as well as instilling respect and encouraging them to celebrate theirs and other achievements.

As a school, we are lucky to have the full support of a committed governing body who work in partnership with the staff at the school in order to ensure the school provides the best education it can for our children.
